Video Conferencing Software
Guitar Lesson video Conferencing?
I am a musician (guitarist), both concerts in a working band and teaches guitar for several days a week at a music store. I want to expand my teaching "business" by offering one to one lessons to anyone in the world theoretically through webcam. I have a MacBook Pro with a built in webcam which makes things fairly simple, but assuming that most students will not have my newer Macs, what type of software / hardware I / they need to run a lesson in real-time online where you can see and listen to others. Thank you.
We are currently not have a software application like this in our range at NCH Software, but I put your question to our developers (and several of them a guitarists and musicians including themselves). Since it could be used in a wider area which may be something of interest to them (schools, businesses). We have an application like this, but audio only language called Coach, for what could possibly be based on that basis and incorporate video.
