International Dialing
mobile phone international dialing code?
I am travelling to the usa and canada from the uk if anybody rings me what is the international dialing code they have to add to my uk reg mobile phone
if people in the UK are calling your UK phone..while you are out of the country.
they call it as normal… the Network knows you have gone to US..and arrived.
(that is the way it is supposed to work ; no one needs t know where you are.. it just ‘works’)
If you get a local USA mobile, then they need to call it with the country code in front
from a UK mobile
+1-xxx-xxx-xxxx
from a UK landline
00-1-xxx-xxx-xxxx
Though use a cheap calling service like these (0.5p/min)

or from mobile
Vodafone who do it for 5p.min (if you opt in)
or Orange if you go for their Camel plan at 6p/min
if YOU want to call home to the UK, you need t drop teh 0 from any number and add back in +44 (do not use 011-44 on a mobile in the US, it will go to the operator ‘0′ )
so 07xx xxxxxx becomes
+44-7xx xxxxxx
when you come home to the UK, all thos enumbers will still work…so you might as well change them in your phone book now.
