India Calling
How to call customer service with India calling card?
I am from India and now in the U.S. for a few months. I have an account bank in India with ICICI and want to contact ICICI customer care urgently. I tried to make a call using a calling card India (Delhi number customer care). My call connects to a customer support and answers. This voice machine asks me enter my options by pressing the numbers. But calling card, if I press a number during the call, call is not propagated to receiver (ICICI customer service in my case). Can anyone help?
I have successfully used automated banking when banks call in the United Kingdom with Localphone. Unfortunately that is no guarantee that it works with banks in India, which will be on a different carrier. Worth a try though – only 5.5 ยข to India. Signaling by pressing the number keys is called DTMF – that might help with your search. In my experience, systems that use this frequency fall back through calls to an operator if there is no button when prompted. Good luck!
