Conference Calls Voip
No flash button in german Philips CD1701B cordless phone?
Hi . I have recently bought Philips CD 1701B Cordless phone. I am using it with my Vonage VOIP. VOIP provides me service of conference call but i can not make it through this phone. Although in the instruction manual its written that R and INT but is for Flash/ hold button. But when ever I press R 1 beep comes but could not disconnect to make other conference call.
Can any one help me how to make conference call through this phone ?
Hi Carl.. I have set that to short. But whenever i press R there is no dial tone and i can still hear second party voice. Can you please help me. I am using my phone on VOIP
If your line allows a flash, you can adjust the time. It has 3 steps, short, medium and long. Check Settings/Recall Time.
Edit: Go through all 3 steps. The manual doesn’t give the flash time, but generally you need 500 mS give or take 100. Clearly SHORT is wrong
