Conference Calling With Verizon
international cell phone use – cheaper?

I will be in the Netherlands for 1 month and requires a cell phone to call the U.S. (Personal use). It is also likely that the U.S. will have to call me (call business of the conference). Is it cheaper to get a telephone achieve something in Europe or U.S. with a number of U.S. (Ie: GoPhone)? I guess my company is charged for international calls, if I have the phone There … would be charged if I have a number of U.S.? Can I use Skype for conference calls and then get a mobile phone for personal use? I Verizon currently, so I think to buy a phone to unlock with a SIM card is out of the question … or is it?

What I do when I travel Europe is just bring an unlocked phone of America, and then put in a SIM card of their own. It is much cheaper than using say that your service provider Verizon. Try ebay or something, buy an unlocked phone CHEAP, will serve its purpose, and buy a SIM card from there, since they tend to be prepaid, postpaid and not here in America, will have no problem with that. It would probably be charged, even if you had a U.S. number, since it would be roaming. You must use Skype for conference calls, I think you can afford and use Skype as a regular phone. But do not take an American telephone number is steal.
