Should I tip for room service?
I'm staying at the Athens Hilton and ordered room service. I'm paying € 17.50 for a pizza, 12,00 euros for a lemon pie, and € 6.50 for a glass of iced tea. Room service delivered is charged € 8.00 – Why I still tip on top of that? I do not normally for room service, but I'm in the middle of A Conference Call so you do not have much choice. Thank you.
It's a good idea to tip if you do not want to eat Pizza with saliva-spitting-Ice Tea. And just what the other poster says, the delivery people receive nothing for all those things too expensive. So you can not expect them to be very happy if you do not tip.
