Conference Calling Droid
How to plan an event or show in my community?
Hello, I plan an event in my community that is basically a conference where a presenter (Who have already discovered) speaks of all the new technology that was introduced in 2009 as the droid, Google Wave, Windows 7. etc provide a lot of software and devices which came out this year. We also want to have a sponsor to donate an iPod Touch and some iTunes gift cards as raffle prizes at the event. We have all the issues and things organized, but we do not know what to do from here. What is the best way to get people to come and I have to call for a building for the use, should I get for sponsoring the raffle? Any help would be awesome. Thanks
You need to be a non-profit registered to hold a raffle and request donated items for the raffle. You could ask another group, such as your local library to sponsor the event. Letters, including the non-profit free number taxes is sent to a company and you ask for a donation of the iPod, then promote the event and sell tickets.
