Conference Call Software

How long after an interview where he says he will hear from human resources can expect to hear from HR?
My conversation on this initial sales software technical job opportunity with a technology company was a person of human resources. She then had two managers speak me: an international manager and an administrator of the U.S. National (The latter being the director of human resources). After this third conversation (my second interview via conference call), the manager of the latter said "expect a call from" the HR manager, so I felt good. (This was Sunday morning 9 am.) What is the average time to wait if (as it sounds) that are taken seriously?
Some good questions during interviews are (final): 1) How soon will make a hiring decision? 2) What is the next step in their recruitment position for this job? 3) If there is no response from you in a week, it's okay to contact you? What is the best method – e-mail, telephone, etc? Do not forget to write a thank you letter after the interview to all who speak. There is no such thing as the average waiting time – you are one of many things that are working for the company and each company works differently in their hiring practices. They may have to wait for the position of being formally approved or wait until someone goes, has brought to her attention. If you have not heard anything in a week of your interview, call or send an email to check the status. Meanwhile, keep looking and do not put all eggs in one basket.
