Conference Call English

World Sanskrit Conference In Delhi
World Sanskrit conference in Delhi means hopes, dreams and ambitions of Sanskritists. So far the so called world Sanskrit conferences conducted elsewhere in the different parts of the world took the role of paper presenters’ forums and nothing else. Instead of sending the articles to the journals, some scholars present them on the dais and they call this process conference!
In some ‘conferences’ lively Sanskrit had not opportunity to have entrance from even back door. Most of the professors with University Ph.D holders occupied the chairs and talked in English. But the conference in Delhi shall not be the same. Delhi is capital city of India and not Japan, America or England, one has to remember.
I would like to suggest the authorities of the World Sanskrit conference that they may kindly consider the following topics for discussion. I sincerely hope that this conference shall not take the role of paper presenters’ forum. It may become real ‘Sanskrit’ conference. Sanskrit shall be heard everywhere and not English in this conference.

Why always the Sanskritists want to teach and not write? In English, writing is not seen as useless business. But in Sanskrit-teaching method, the supreme dream of every student of Sanskrit is to become teacher and having University-salary. Why the research is not given its fair place? Why the officials of UGC are considering the research scholars belong to third class (or even class-less!)? Why the directors of manuscript research centres are not enthusiastic in publishing works ?
