How I can organize a conference of online chat?
Okay, so I am part of a committee and they usually have conference calls each month. However, we have about 23 people on this board and conference calls can become a bit confusing at times and I suggested that we talk conference in place. If any of you are tech savvy could you please explain how I can do this. I'm looking for something that does not require a download and is free. Is there any website that will host a conference chat or something like that? Thanks
Free and easy: Just register http://tinychat.com/ for the service and then click the field where it says "choose a name for your" chat room and press the green button "create chat room" button. You can not password protect your chat room unless you pay them $ 10 a month. What you can do is keep their random strings as qwnmldpnd chat room names, Automobile etc. suggests a random string. You need to have your URL of the page to invite users, so keeping random prevent unwanted users of guesses. Hope that helps. PS: It is also compatible with voice and video chat.
